Who is going to be saddled with the debt created by BHO's handouts?
While listening to BHO's speech last night, I took notes and began to check some of his talking point facts.
Barrack hates corporate greed so much he hails all CEOs as corrupt and tells them their era of taking private jets is over. Barrack is the president, not the dictator of the country.
Barrack states he desires to set up a slush fund for loans doled out to those requiring student loans, business loans, home loans and even vehicle loans? Does he think about where this money is coming from or going to? From whom is this money coming from he plans on lending: Oh yeah, yours and mine. Who is he planning on lending it to: People who for a multitude of reasons could not secure a loan from a bank that has standards. This sounds like a great enterprise for our GOVERNMENT to explore... right up there with Robin Hood fairies chasing O'Biden Leprechaun gold.
As Barrack continues to spell out how greed is horrible yet, NOW, America is great because of the past accomplishments he completely forgets the fact that it became great because of a less restricted enterprise. The programs he talks about, Apollo, for instance, was indeed fully funded with ridiculous money but is was done so quick and with such an open budget that free enterprise advanced our endeavors. I am an engineer in the Aerospace industry and currently design electronics for spacecraft. Aerospace is a fairly broken industry because of the incredible amount of government money provided on cost plus contracts. Let's continue on the BHO's speech and forget this digression.
BHO begins to describe the horrible state of our healthcare system because it's expensive. Hey, BHO, guess what, you get what you pay for. I heard an incredible claim thatthere is a foreclosure in this country every 30 seconds due to medical debt. Let's examine this claim with some 3rd grade math. There are 60 seconds in a minute, and 60 minutes in an hour culminating in a day, of 24 hours each, so that's 60 s/m * 60 m/hr * 24 hr/dy = 86,400 s / day. Assuming our dear leader has not mislead us, (86,400 s / day) / (30 s / bankruptcy ) = 2,880 bankruptcies / day. Wow, that is problem.... since we have so many people filing bankruptcy per day due to medical reasons I think we should examine how many people are in the same boat due to illegitimate reasons. According to
http://www.bankruptcyaction.com/USbankstats.htm there were approximately 822,950 total non-business (people) bankrucpties in 2007. Then I ran across this interesting
paper that states approximately 27% of bankruptcy is
primarily due to medical debt. I know our
brilliant president wouldn't attempt to walk us down the primrose path but let's just double check our facts. That makes 0.27 mdb / bankruptcy * 822,950 bankruptcies annually = 222,196.5 bankruptcies due
primarily to medical debt. Wait a second, something doesn't appear right here 222,196.5 bankruptcies / 2280 bankruptcies per day = 97 days! Last I checked there were 365 days in a year, but then again since we became a nation of 57 states I might have missed a thing or two.
Health care for an additional 11 million children? I'm glad he's spending my money for that.
Wow, a cure for cancer too accompany the calming of the skies and lowering of the oceans.
Since Teddy Roosevelt healthcare has been a prohibitive cost? Good Lord, please zap this guy with some common sense!
How to compare apples to Volkswagons. 75% of the fastest growing jobs require more than high school and 50% of our people don't have college?
It appears San Fran Grand Nan is a bit hyper tonight.
Commit to 1 year of college, will this be mandated?
Quitting on your country if you don't attend at least one year of college? Hubris.
I appreciate President Obama stating he feels parents are responsible for their children's education. +1.
"A responsibilty to ensure we do not pass on them (children) a debt they can not pay." A fat straw-man.
A deficit we inherited? You must have voted present on those spending bills, eh?
A recovery bill free of earmarks? Apparently that depends upon the definition of earmark. Is is Is.
Ohh, lefty talking point of no-bid contracts in Iraq receives applause. Wow, double-ding, ending cold-war era weapons programs. Just remember TNT is much better at killing than a computer.
"Not one single dime." -- "Read my lips..."
A tax cut for 95% of working families... Can't wait for that check.
That's great, a 10-year budget. Apparently, there will never be another non-pinko president. Arrogance.
I figured it out! The applause sign was broke so they asked the nearest IQ-equivalent individual. Thanks Nancy.
Oops, service men (Thanks for your sacrifice and service) not clapping; Ya, you're on camera smile and clap.
Our economy depends upon the strength of the world's economy? I surely hope not because we don't export much anymore...
I'm done for the night.
Who is John Galt?
